Students interested in qualifying for certification as a c.L.U. (chartered life<br />
underwriter) or a c.P.C.U. (chartered property casualty underwriter) should<br />
consult their adviser concerning courses outside the School <strong>of</strong> Business Administration<br />
which are <strong>of</strong> special value in meeting the requirements for these certificates.<br />
Transportation, Traffic Management, and Utilities. This option is designed<br />
to prepare students for careers with transportation or utility companies, for traffic<br />
positions with industrial or commercial firms or trade associations, and for governmental<br />
positions with regulatory agencies or publicly owned utilities. Geography<br />
<strong>of</strong> Europe (Geog 201 ), Geography <strong>of</strong> Latin America (Geog 202), Geography<br />
<strong>of</strong> Asia (Geog 203) , American Governments (PS 201, 202, 203), and Introductory<br />
College Mathematics (Mth 104, 105, 106) are recommended as lower-division<br />
