Study <strong>of</strong> the personal health problems <strong>of</strong> university men and women, with<br />
emphasis on implications for family life. Mental health, communicable diseases,<br />
degenerative diseases, nutrition. Satisfies the <strong>University</strong> requirement in<br />

Methods <strong>of</strong> handling health and sanitation problems in the community, with<br />
special reference to water supply, food and milk sanitation, sewage disposal,<br />

Study <strong>of</strong> first aid and safety procedures-for the individual, schools, athletics,<br />

For health teachers in the public schools. Hygienic care <strong>of</strong> the body and other<br />
personal health problems important in health instruction. Prerequisite: junior<br />

Basic community health problems important in public school health instruction.<br />

Nature, prevention, and control <strong>of</strong> common communicable diseases, considered<br />

Functions and organization <strong>of</strong> public health; vital statistics; consumer health<br />
