2. All provisions shall be identified by the Contractor <strong>and</strong> documented in the quality control<br />

inventory. Individual provision data such as provision type make <strong>and</strong> model, <strong>and</strong> serial<br />

number shall be obtained by the Contractor at the time of demolition <strong>and</strong> documented in<br />

the quality control inventory.<br />

PART 2 - PRODUCTS<br />

2.1 GENERAL<br />

A. Unless otherwise specified, products for the ACAMS shall be consistent with <strong>and</strong> compatible<br />

with the established st<strong>and</strong>ards for LAX ACAMS.<br />

B. Latest technology available: Products shall be provided as specified. In the event the<br />

manufacturer(s) of specified products <strong>and</strong> materials have upgraded or replaced the specified<br />

products <strong>and</strong> materials with newer or improved technologies at the time of purchase, the newer<br />

or improved products or materials shall be provided unless they are incompatible with the rest of<br />

the ACAMS systems or so directed by LAWA (submit Request For Information is in doubt).<br />

Latest technology products <strong>and</strong> materials shall be operationally <strong>and</strong> functionally equivalent or<br />

superior to the specified products <strong>and</strong> materials. Products <strong>and</strong> materials shall be purchased by<br />

the Contractor in a timely manner to meet construction schedules, but shall not be purchased so<br />

far advanced of the date(s) of installation that they become technologically obsolete or replaced<br />

with newer technologies.<br />

2.2 ACAMS EQUIPMENT<br />

A. Access Control Panel (<strong>and</strong> associated components as required):<br />

1. GE M3000, with internal 12 VDC, 6 amp power supply (no substitutions)<br />

2. Include GE PXN plus CPU board<br />

3. Must be fully compatible with the LAWA Picture Perfect Server Software at time of<br />

installation<br />

4. Provide <strong>and</strong> install one (1) 12 Volt, 12 Amp Hour sealed gel type battery for each GE<br />

M3000<br />

B. Card Reader Interface Module<br />

1. GE 8RP model 110100501 (no substitutions)<br />

C. Output interface module<br />

1. Provide <strong>and</strong> install a minimum of one (1) per M3000, <strong>and</strong> as required to support outputs<br />

as indicated in the specifications <strong>and</strong> drawings<br />
