7. Termination<br />

G. Endurance Testing<br />

a. Performance verification test shall be terminated by the <strong>Design</strong> Consultant when:<br />

VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM (VSS)<br />

1) Individual components, subsystems, or the integrated system fail to perform<br />

as specified.<br />

2) It is determined that system is missing components or installation is not<br />

complete.<br />

b. Upon termination, corrective work shall be performed <strong>and</strong> performance<br />

verification test rescheduled with the <strong>Design</strong> Consultant.<br />

c. Retesting shall be performed by Contractor at no additional expense.<br />

d. Contractor shall continue to perform corrective actions <strong>and</strong> retest until system<br />

passes all tests to satisfaction of the <strong>Design</strong> Consultant.<br />

1. Provide personnel to monitor the systems 24 hours per day, including weekends <strong>and</strong><br />

holidays during endurance testing.<br />

2. Start test after:<br />

a. Successful completion of performance verification testing.<br />

b. Correction of deficiencies has been completed.<br />

c. Receipt of written start notification from the <strong>Design</strong> Consultant.<br />

3. Monitor all systems during endurance testing. Coordinate monitoring with the <strong>Design</strong><br />

Consultant.<br />

4. Recording: Record data on approved forms so as to provide a continuous log of systems<br />

performance. Include:<br />

a. Date <strong>and</strong> time for all entries.<br />

b. Name of individual making entry.<br />

c. Environmental conditions.<br />

d. Authority activities in process.<br />

e. Description of all alarm annunciations, responses, corrective actions, <strong>and</strong> causes of<br />

alarms. Classify as to type of alarm.<br />

f. Description of all equipment failures, including software errors.<br />
