6.2.3.9 Inclusion of design guidance from Conceptual <strong>and</strong> Schematic design<br />

approvals<br />

6.2.3.10 Sustainable <strong>Design</strong><br />

6.2.3.10.1 Follow the requirements for implementing the U.S. Green Building<br />

Council's (USGBC) "Leadership in Energy <strong>and</strong> Environmental<br />

<strong>Design</strong>" (LEED) Program as described in Chapter II-01 General<br />

<strong>Design</strong> Approach.<br />

6.2.3.10.2 In addition:<br />

6.2.3.10.2.1 Provide a completed LEED Project Checklist indicating<br />

Prerequisites <strong>and</strong> Credits to be implemented into the<br />

facility design <strong>and</strong> the total anticipated LEED score for the<br />

project.<br />

6.2.3.10.2.2 Description of how each anticipated LEED Prerequisite<br />

<strong>and</strong> Credit shall be achieved.<br />

6.2.3.10.2.3 Identify the <strong>Design</strong> Team's LEED Accredited Professionals<br />

as recognized by the U.S. Green Building Council.<br />

6.2.3.10.2.4 List the Architects <strong>and</strong> Engineers from the <strong>Design</strong> Team<br />

<strong>and</strong> who are responsible for implementing each<br />

Prerequisite <strong>and</strong> Credit into the facility design.<br />

6.2.4. Schematic Specifications<br />

6.2.4.1 List proposed specification sections with short outline specification for<br />

materials <strong>and</strong> systems selected.<br />

6.2.5. Schematic <strong>Design</strong> Drawings:<br />

Scale as required to clearly describe the design:<br />

6.2.5.1 Vicinity Plan - Area map showing major streets, access, major<br />

surrounding developments, transportation systems planned <strong>and</strong><br />

existing, <strong>and</strong> the airport.<br />

6.2.5.2 Site Plan - Program as a roof plan, facility ground floor elevation,<br />

rough grading, all surrounding streets, roads, accesses, parking,<br />

walks, other constructed elements, <strong>and</strong> major l<strong>and</strong>scape features. It<br />

is important that this plan clearly indicate aircraft parking positions,<br />

ramp service roads, major ramp elements, taxiway <strong>and</strong> taxilane<br />

clearances, the Building Restriction Line, fuel limit line, <strong>and</strong> other<br />

pertinent aviation related issues.<br />

6.2.5.3 Overall Floor Plans - showing floor layouts of the Program with<br />

spaces labeled as to use. Major <strong>and</strong> important dimensions shall be<br />

shown. Indicate:<br />

6.2.5.3.1 Curb<br />

6.2.5.3.2 Passenger Boarding Bridges,<br />

6.2.5.3.3 Parked aircraft (at least to the boarding door)<br />

6.2.5.3.4 Routing of baggage system belts.<br />

6.2.5.4 Typical partial layouts at larger scale for:<br />

6.2.5.4.1 Ticketing (Including FF&E layout)<br />

6.2.5.4.2 Baggage Claim (Including claim devices <strong>and</strong> other FF&E)<br />

6.2.5.4.3 Gate Lounge (Including FF&E layout)<br />
