C. Temporary Directional /Wayfinding Signage Products<br />

1. All temporary directional/wayfinding signage shall be designed,<br />

produced, <strong>and</strong> provided by Praxis.<br />

2. Contractor shall provide all necessary directional/wayfinding signage<br />

at each barricade system where travel pathways are disrupted. At a<br />

minimum, ten (10) directional signs are required at each barricade to<br />

direct passenger traffic around the temporary disruption.<br />

3. Placement of this signage shall be approved by LAWA prior to<br />

installation.<br />

D. Contractor Required <strong>Construction</strong> Signage Products<br />

1. Contractor shall provide professionally produced Contractor<br />

information signage for each barricade. The signs shall include the<br />

Contractor’s contact information: Company name, contact person, <strong>and</strong><br />

reliable emergency phone number. These signs shall be posted at<br />

each barricade location as approved by the Airport Contact.<br />

2. Contractor shall post all Cal/OSHA required safety <strong>and</strong> construction<br />

signage on barricade doors.<br />

E. Application <strong>and</strong> Usage:<br />

1. Tenants are required to submit initial barricade plans to the Airport<br />

Contact. The plans shall include directional/way finding needs <strong>and</strong> probably<br />

location of any access doors (both equipment <strong>and</strong> personnel) <strong>and</strong> fire watch<br />

windows, where required.<br />

a. Tenants are required to retain Praxis Consultants to create<br />

a graphic design for the vinyl barricade or modular panel barricade<br />

system based on the estimated square footage, directional/way<br />

finding needs, <strong>and</strong> door/window locations indicated on the<br />

submitted plans. Praxis will produce directional/way finding<br />

signage so that it is ready to install immediately upon barricade<br />

construction.<br />

b. The proposed design will be sent as a PDF file to the<br />

LAWA contact, with copy to Eric Moody (emoody@lawa.org) of<br />

LAWA’s Airport Development Group for review <strong>and</strong> comments.<br />

c. The tenant will have contractor <strong>and</strong>/or Praxis make<br />

modifications until LAWA approves the design/layout, messaging,<br />

directional/way finding locations, etc. Praxis will create the<br />

graphic design message, produce the graphic materials, install the<br />

graphics, <strong>and</strong> de-install them when they are ready to come down.<br />

d. All barricade installations shall occur during the off-peak<br />

hours of 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.<br />

3. Application <strong>and</strong> Usage on LAWA Initiated projects will be as follows:
