• Locate, verify <strong>and</strong> coordinate all ceiling mounted fixtures such as but<br />

not limited to: life safety devices, security cameras, signage,<br />

ventilation grills. Coordinate with corresponding disciplines.<br />

• Begin detailing all soffit conditions. Indicate how the soffit is attached<br />

to the roof/floor assembly above with required kickers <strong>and</strong> connection<br />

call outs.<br />

• Indicate all existing building expansion joints with a corresponding<br />

detail call out. Begin to detail conditions such as these taking into<br />

account the adjacent finish materials on both sides of the joint.<br />

• Identify all plenum fire stops, if required by code.<br />

• Consider a separate interstitial plan in order to identify various<br />

equipment <strong>and</strong> systems located between the ceiling plane <strong>and</strong> the<br />

structure above.<br />

m. Door Schedule<br />

• Check that all door numbers are identified on the plans with the<br />

proper size, fire rating, frame <strong>and</strong> door type.<br />

• Indicate all door <strong>and</strong> frame types.<br />

• Indicate typical door thresholds <strong>and</strong> note the transition between floor<br />

materials under the doors.<br />

• Indicate all head <strong>and</strong> jamb details<br />

• Indicate door hardware groups for all doors.<br />

n. Finish Plan<br />

• Update finish call outs based upon approved on finish materials.<br />

• Identify all material transitions.<br />

o. Furniture Plan<br />

• Update furniture layout based upon approved furniture.<br />

• Highlight code required horizontal clearances for egress.<br />

p. Interior Elevations<br />

• Confirm that all finish materials are clearly identified.<br />

• Locate all wall mounted equipment such as but not limited to:<br />

Electrical outlets, fire extinguisher cabinets, fire hose cabinets,<br />

signage, strobes, defibrillator cabinets, lighting, etc., etc..<br />

• Indicate all access panels as required by MEP disciplines.<br />

• Indicate all louvers <strong>and</strong> grills required by Mechanical plans.<br />

• Indicate electrical switchgear <strong>and</strong> panels.<br />

• Indicate all pipe <strong>and</strong> duct penetrations.<br />

• Indicate vertical dimensions <strong>and</strong> where required, horizontal<br />

dimensions.<br />

q. Building Cross Sections<br />

• Indicate heights of proposed finish ceilings.<br />

• Identify adjacent spaces with the corresponding room number.<br />
