2002 ASK THE WIND
Ask the Wind
Ask the Wind porträtiert das Leben zweier Musiker,
Jean Perret
Ask the Wind portrays the life of two musicians, a violinist
and a piano player in Japan´s South West.
»The pictures are characterised by the incredible harmony
of nature and the rough beauty of the music –
the rain, the sky, the plants, the daily life of the fishermen
and the children´s games. Life´s movements
are revealed in a dimension, impetuous and poetical
alike, penetrated by the music of Saikou Miyajima and
Misa Shimomura … A rain of delicious moments, a
Japanese elegy where silence prolongs the touching
inspiration of music.« Jean Perret
