halfpenny token <strong>of</strong> THO. HUNTER AT YE<br />

ROSE TAVERN, a rose; IN LIME STREET, HIS<br />

HALF PENY.<br />

Mr. L. A. Lawrence exhibited a fragment <strong>of</strong> a penny <strong>of</strong><br />

Stephen, <strong>of</strong> Norwich, <strong>and</strong> ano<strong>the</strong>r <strong>of</strong> Nottingham, both<br />

defaced on obverse with a cross, <strong>the</strong> latter <strong>of</strong> which he has<br />

since presented to <strong>the</strong> British Museum.
