No. 8. This coin is unique in my experience, <strong>and</strong>,<br />

although in bad condition, may be seen to have points<br />

<strong>of</strong> resemblance, especially about <strong>the</strong> head, with <strong>the</strong><br />

first electrum stater <strong>of</strong> this period, No. 5. <strong>The</strong> manner<br />

in which <strong>the</strong> forelegs are drawn <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> plain incuse<br />

square connect it with <strong>the</strong> silver didrachm, No. 4.
