Hadrian <strong>and</strong> Antoninus (B. M. C. : Crete, pp. 5, Nos. 30<br />

seqq.) seems incredible. A similar objection applies to<br />

<strong>the</strong> amplification K(vpavaia>y) K(6////a),on <strong>the</strong> analogy <strong>of</strong><br />

SevOa KOLLfia, even although <strong>the</strong> contemporary support<br />

from Crete <strong>of</strong> Toprvvos or
