specifications. To introduce a concept of discrete time<br />

Discrete time systems introduction to sampling and discrete<br />

data. Introduction of discrete time control system, sampling<br />

and discrete time signal, Z-transform, zero order hold<br />

element, discrete time state space model, controllability,<br />

observability and stability. State space model of multivariable<br />

linear continuos-time systems. Control system<br />

performance analysis. Controllability, observability and<br />

stability. System Transformation.<br />

Design of control systems from a classical approach using<br />

compensators P.I.D. controllers and state feedback.<br />

Introduction to non-linearities and their effect on the<br />

system.<br />
