Reciprocal Packed Single-Precision<br />

Floating-Point<br />

Computes the approximate reciprocal of each of the four packed single-precision<br />

floating-point values in an XMM register or 128-bit memory location and writes the<br />

result in the corresponding doubleword of another XMM register. The rounding<br />

control bits (RC) in the MXCSR register have no effect on the result.<br />

The maximum relative error is less than or equal to 1.5 * 2 –12 . A source value of 0.0<br />

returns an infinity of the source value’s sign. Denormal source operands are treated as<br />

signed 0.0. Results that underflow are changed to signed 0.0. For both SNaN and<br />

QNaN source operands, a QNaN is returned.<br />
