MR. O. At present we cannot do much. Probably we will have one newgroup, but at present the situation is rather funny because we cannotmanage even with people we have now. There are only five eveningsand they are all occupied, when everybody is back in London. So if wehave one new group all people will not be able to meet every week.MR. C. Then it is not important to get new people now?MR. O. It may be very important. I can only speak about results. Itdepends whom you bring, whether the person is prepared or notprepared, whether they can be useful in one or another way, eithernow or later. It is necessary to try. But, as I said, this is not a questionof the present moment. We must have a better organization. We mayhave even two new groups, that is, one soon and one about Christmas. But every new person means some older person must give place tohim. We are already full.[Mr. O. left the room.]***[Questions read out when Mr. O. came back.]MR. B. Is it useless to try and remember by reading? I find it helpful tolook at notes sometimes.MR. O. Maybe useful sometimes but you cannot rely on that, because itwill become formatory.MISS M . What is the difference between this class and groups?MR. O. Groups will be smaller, it will be easier to answer personalquestions. Also it will be possible to give definite tasks to groups, tostudy one particular subject, to make observations of one particularkind—many things that cannot be given to a larger group.MRS. J. Is it observations of oneself that one should bring to a meeting?MR. O. I cannot answer that. Everything that one finds that is new isuseful.MR. P . I think it is asking too much of Mr. O. that the development ofthe Society should depend on profits derived from the sale of hisbooks. It is more up to us than up to him to provide funds for theexpansion, since the Society is for our benefit.MR. O. Just the same, if we can do something this way with books itwill be very good. I think sooner or later, if we do it in the right way,we will have quite a good income from publishing. But it cannot bedone at once, it needs time.
