MR. O. Study of types is impossible on our level. Full appreciation oftypes needs a different level.MR. B. Are we to understand types in relation to what is said aboutthem in the New Model?MR. O. I use sometimes the word 'types' in the sense of types ofpersonality. But types of essence are beyond us at present.MR. H. Is it possible sometimes to borrow energy or understanding?Sometimes I feel, after a meeting, I go away with more energy. Energydoes not seem entirely to depend on our own efforts.MR. O. Quite right, but you have to pay for it sooner or later. Andpayment increases.MRS. S. I understand that we may meet people from the Tuesday andWednesday groups. May we repeat to them what is said at Monday meetings?M R. O. At present, yes.MRS. C. If, after a time of special effort, you feel tired, would anothereffort get you into another accumulator?MR. O. It may, or it may not.MISS W. You said if one makes decisions at moments of selfrememberingabout thinking . ..MR. O. About anything.MISS W. ... will it affect one for a short time or for long?MR. O. It depends how deep self-remembering was. If self-rememberingwas imaginary, decision will also be imaginary. But real moment ofconsciousness means a moment of will.MRS. S. I was very frightened going in an aeroplane because I thoughtwe were going to crash. Then I thought, if one were ill, is thereanything one can do in moments before death?MR. O. You describe just work of imagination. You were frightened inthe aeroplane—that is natural. But why think afterwards what wouldhappen if you are ill, etc.? This is just imagination going on and on.What one could do is another thing—one must not increase Law ofAccident, without necessity. This is a principle, because every increaseof Law of Accident increases imagination.MRS. C. You mean it is no good thinking soberly what one would do?MR. O. Did I say that? You take a side thought and attach importanceto it.MR. p. Can there be wrong effort at self-remembering?
