We don't use the word cosmos in singular for the wholeuniverse. The whole thing is not a cosmos; there are seven cosmoses.Certainly it is all connected. Even in the Ray of Creation you can seethat.MISS P . Can ordinary things disappear into the fourth dimension, asthis would explain the tricks of mediums who have not merely sleightof hand?MR. O. Are there such tricks that are not sleight of hand? It is unproven.MISS P . Is it possible for some people to be much more conscious andgenerally adjusted to reality when they are in love?MR. O. Maybe. Every kind of emotional state sometimes makes onemore conscious. But it is not reliable. Our emotions are connectedwith identifying. Every emotion can become negative any time.MISS P . Is taking a helpful and practical interest in people in one'semployment a right kind of considering, or a waste of energy like apolitical activity?MR. O. Generally it would be difficult to determine. . . .MR L . When making efforts to self-remember it seems that the momentbecomes fuller in some way than in ordinary state. Is this due to imagina­tion?MR. O. In most cases. What means fuller? Efforts to self-remembermust begin with efforts to realize that we don't remember ourselves. Itmust be a true realization, not just a general idea.MR. L. I have noticed that when I feel inclined to work in a lazy way,in spite of myself I sometimes make myself work properly. Is this dueto conflicting 'I's?MR. O. It is impossible to say. It is for you to decide. It is matter for observation.
