MR. O. Certainly quite different. There is a certain correspondence,because they all live together in the same body. That is why somepeople have an extraordinary capacity to know time. Instinctive centreknows it. If they are connected, then intellectual centre also knowstime.MISS R. Would time for an individual conscious in higher emotionalcentre synchronize with time as it appears in mesocosmos?MR. O. It is too theoretical. We don't know. What we count by themovement of the sun is our own calculation, not that of mesocosmos.MR. C. I find that imagination is often associated with muscular tension.Could Mr. O. say more of the special exercises to help one torelax?MR. O. Before exercises are possible, use all the simple methods. Thebest method is hard physical work.MRS. L. How can one choose the right impressions?MR. O. What do you mean? How can one choose impressions?MRS. L. The only way I know how to produce deep enough shocks isto continue to turn the shock over in my mind.MR. O. It is impossible to say without an example. In some casesmaybe.MRS. L. One must give up. There are periods in ordinaryconditions when nothing happens, and then there come cross-roads.All life consists of streets and cross-roads.
