MR. O. Individuality is not a function. Individuality means when thesmall 'I's come under control of the central 'I'.MRS. K. We were taught that individuality was consciousness of will.MR. O. And some of the experiencesthat I describe in the New Model are some of higher emotional andsome of higher intellectual. It is not very hard to connect to highercentres but it has no value. Only control is valuable.MRS. R. I heard a long time ago that each observation depositedsomething for higher centres.MR. O. It cannot touch higher centres. Higher centres can be connectedonly through self-remembering. It's the only way. Observation isuseful by what one observes.MRS. W. Do these centres have existence after the body is dead?MR. O. Yes, certainly. But what they are in the body we don't know.MRS. K. There seems to be connection between will and consciousness.MR. O. No, we must not mix terminologies.MRS. K.
