It is very difficult toget accustomed to that; we always like to think that things could bedifferent.MR. T . I saw somebody standing at a tube station and then foundthoughts comparing myself with this person, saying, 'Well they haveno central core provided by an all-engrossing job.' Is this just one 'I'speaking or am I all like that?MR. O. Unfortunately I do not quite understand what this 'I' said.MR. T . I say that I am a person who has an important central partbecause a great deal of me has an important job, and he hasn't.MR. O. How did you know that he hasn't.MR. T . I didn't.MR. H. No, these historical events are not decided in this case, as far aswe know, with the exception of very short and small scale periods; itdidn't happen in our memory of the life on the surface of the earth, butat the same time things change, and things can have one tendency oranother tendency, so things can change mechanically.
