When driving a car an apparently extremely dangerous situationoccurs. I am frightened for less than a moment, then an extremelylucid state occurs—the accident does not happen and then I have timeto be frightened again. There is no doubt about the lucidity of thestate, and I feel that if it did not come the accident would. It is anexperience which remains very vivid for some time.The understanding of a system idea is practically the same experience.I feel that there is something in me which prevents me from reachingthe lucid state on a larger scale, so that I only get as far as having afeeling of shame and fear at not having understood more of thesystem
