EUROPUBHEALTH is an integrated two year Masters course. The first year
curriculum covers the basic issues of public health. It can be attended in the UK, at
Sheffield University or in Spain, at the Andalusian School of Public Health; while the
second year specializes in a particular subject. The seven specializations offered
constitute fields of excellence of the member establishments of the consortium.
Jagiellonian University Medical College Institute of Public Health specialises in Social
and Health Protection and Economics and Financial Management. Regardless of the
specialization, each student will have to carry out research work and a practical
placement, resulting in a viva before a panel of international experts. In addition two
modules will bring together all the students, respectively in Poland (1st year) and in
France (2nd year). All institutions within the consortium will offer survival language

EUROPUBHEALTH will enrol a yearly intake of 40 students. The criteria for eligibility
are: a university Bachelor degree, i.e. 180 ECTS. Proficiency in one or two languages
suitable for the pathway combination chosen and the languages of instruction
(English , English + French, Spanish + French, Spanish + English).
