This 2-years program assumes basic knowledge in mathematics, general physics, classical
mechanics, classical electrodynamics and basic quantum mechanics. It provides
an introduction to basic branches of advanced theoretical and mathematical physics,
including advanced quantum mechanics, statistical mechanics, classical field theory,
general relativity, quantum electrodynamics, quantum field theory and elementary
particles theory. Students have the opportunity to choose among several specialized
and monographic lectures.
Their subjects change from year to year, depending on students’ interest and current
scientific activities of the research groups

To access graduate Studies in Theoretical Physics a candidate is required to have
a Bachelor’s Degree in related area and to meet English language requirements.
Students are expected to have knowledge of general physics, basic quantum
mechanics and introductory solid state physics.
