Binational Polish-German course of studies is a joint undertaking of the University of
Szczecin and Hochschule Wismar. Apart from Polish and German citizens, students
from other countries can also apply.
The model of the following programme combines competences, academic
specialization and experience of both universities. The studies have an international
profile and offer lectures in two languages: German and English (alternatively also in
Polish) at both universities.
Managing a company cannot be successful without use of information technology.
Information has been a decisive factor in production for a long time. Proper decision
making is strongly dependent on information, which shows the importance of
economic information.
The programme concentrates on the issues related to the application of information
technology in economy. The course of studies includes basic and advanced issues
within information technology, economics and multimedia application. The subjects
are adjusted to the conditions of Polish-German economic area.
The courses delivered at both universities form one consistent programme: in the first
semester take place at Hochschule Wismar, in the second semester at University of
Szczecin and in third and fourth semester at one of these universities according to the
students individual choice with distance-learning support.
