The Doctoral programme offers students varied theoretical and methodological tools
for analyzing human behaviour and development. Firstly, we believe that psychology
as a scientific discipline contains a great potential for application to significant
problems of human life. What is more, we feel that adequate development of our
science requires the use of a variety of methodologies, including experimental and
ecological approaches. The major point of our programme is to enhance your
research skills. Such skills are acquired through methodology courses, seminars, and
collaboration with faculty-members in ongoing research projects. Students are
encouraged to take advantage of the unusually wide range of research sites that are
available, such as University – and community – based laboratory facilities, training
centres, and other organizations (cultural, sport etc.).
Possible study areas:
History of Psychology, Psychology of Personality, Developmental Psychology,
Developmental Psychopathology, Differential Psychology, Social Psychology,
Educational Psychology, Health Psychology, Psychological Counselling, Psychometrics,
Methodology of Behavioural Sciences.

Students of Polish origin are entitled to a 30% discount.

Candidates have the possibility to apply for a place in the Student’s Hotel free of
charge. After the first year of training they can apply for a special financial prize for
outstanding results in his/her study.
