Students enhance their competence in practical application of biology and chemistry
in biotechnological techniques. The knowledge is applied in organisms, modification,
creation of new food product and bioproduct as well as carrying out important
processes of biosynthesis and biotransforamtion. Graduates will be competent and
skilled to design technological processes. Cooperating institutions: Universiteit Gent,
Belgium; Aalborg University, Denmark; Technical University of Denmark, Denmark;
Universidade de Lisboa, Portugal; University of Wolverhampton, UK.
EU citizens and permanent residents of the Republic of Poland study free of charge;
non-EU citizens – 4000 EUR per year

Candidates have to hold a legalized maturity certificate or another foreign document
that entitles one to continue education at the university level. Very good knowledge
of English. Candidates holding Polish maturity certificates, for English language, have
to obtain min. 60% of the points at the advanced level.
