International relations is a discipline focused on international organizations, mutual
relations between states in the sphere of politics, economy, business, media and
culture. Such studies, especially those conducted in English, are designed for persons
who are interested in obtaining the tools needed for independent analysis of the
phenomena of European integration and international cooperation on a regional and
global level. A student will gain a strong academic foundation in the fields of socioeconomic
and political sciences and law. This expertise will enable the student to
conduct analysis of the world economy, to understand the character and evolution of
international political and economic systems, as well as to identify and estimate cases
and problems from an international perspective. A Graduate should present
interdisciplinary knowledge of the socio-economic and political sciences and law
which will enable her or him to conduct an analysis of the world economy and
international political relations. This expertise will enable a graduate to understand the
character and evolution of international political and economic systems, as well as to
identify and estimate cases and problems from an international perspective.
A graduate should speak a foreign language at the level ofl B2 according to the
Common European Framework of Reference: Learning, Teaching, Assessment of the
Council of Europe, and use the specialised vocabulary common to the field of
international affairs. A graduate should show effective expression ability in a foreign
language. A graduate of international relations should be prepared to work in the
position of an analytical expert and medium level specialist in government (both
national and local), in international organisations and institutions, domestic institutions
cooperating with foreign partners, and enterprises operating within international
markets. Thanks to the interdisciplinary character of these studies, a graduate should
be prepared to work also in other areas which are not so closely connected with the
theory and practice of international relations. A graduate should be ready to begin
studies at the MA level (second-cycle) in English.

Oral exam conducted in English for candidates with foreign diplomas. Themes: history,
society, geography. Calculation of points from the exam is to be carried out by
