OpSciTech (Optics <strong>in</strong> Science and Technology) is a European Erasmus Mundus master<br />

programme provid<strong>in</strong>g comprehensive and multidiscipl<strong>in</strong>ary coverage of the field of<br />

optics from upstream scientific aspects to eng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g and applications <strong>in</strong> the major<br />

sectors of economy. Applicants should hold B.Sc. or B.Eng. degree <strong>in</strong> physics and<br />

optics basics (e.g. physics, mechatronics, electrical eng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g, electronics, computer<br />

science). The consortium conduct<strong>in</strong>g the program is comprised of six <strong>in</strong>stitutions:<br />

Institut d’Optique and Universite Paris-Sud11 (France)<br />

Imperial College London (United K<strong>in</strong>gdom)<br />

Delft University of Technology (the Netherlands)<br />

Friedrich Schiller University Jena (Germany)<br />

Warsaw University of Technology (<strong>Poland</strong>).<br />

EU students: 4600 EUR/year<br />

Non-EU students: 10500 EUR/year<br />

• For non-EU candidates apply<strong>in</strong>g for EU scholarships – 31st January<br />

• For non-EU candidates not apply<strong>in</strong>g for EU scholarships – 15th May<br />

• For EU candidates (not eligible for EU scholarships) – 30th June<br />

Applicants should hold a bachelor degree <strong>in</strong> physics and optics fundamentals. Other<br />

criteria taken <strong>in</strong>to account are awards, external references, details of earlier projects,<br />

and proof of English proficiency.<br />

EU candidates can apply for an Erasmus Mundus category B scholarships.<br />

Selected students will receive 23000 EUR per year.<br />

Non-EU candidates can apply for Erasmus Mundus category A scholarships.<br />

Selected students will receive a grant of 24000 EUR per year.<br />
