The B.A. programme offered by the Institute of English Philology at the University of
Wrocław is designed for students interested in various aspects of the English language
and English language culture.
The objective of the programme is to provide students with general knowledge in the
fields of literary theory, history of literature and various aspects of English linguistics,
at the same time preparing them for independent research in their chosen fields
through proseminar courses and optional subjects, where the material is studied in
a more detailed way.
The programme is comprised of courses in English language, literature, culture and
linguistics, as well as courses in practical English intended to raise students’ language
skills toward proficiency level.
