The core of the MSc <strong>in</strong> Organic Agriculture and Food Systems (EUR-Organic) is to<br />

create the study profiles that enable the students to profit from the different foci of<br />

organic agriculture teach<strong>in</strong>g and research of the partner universities. The<br />

EUR-Organic consortium: University of Hohenheim, Germany (UHOH); University<br />

of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna, Austria (BOKU); Warsaw<br />

University of Life Sciences (WULS-SGGW), <strong>Poland</strong>. Dur<strong>in</strong>g the MSc programme all<br />

students will be study<strong>in</strong>g at two different universities. The first semester/basic: Jo<strong>in</strong>t<br />

start-up module + e-learn<strong>in</strong>g; compulsory courses. The second semester/basic:<br />

compulsory modules & elective modules. Summer school – elective module. The first<br />

and second semester at UHOH or BOKU. The third and fourth semester: elective<br />

modules/master thesis (at UHOH, BOKU or (WULS-SGGW).<br />

Tuition Students pay the tuition fee accord<strong>in</strong>g to the rules of university where<br />

they are registered as fulltime students, i.e. their home university, dur<strong>in</strong>g both study<br />

years. Students are exempted from pay<strong>in</strong>g tuition fee at their host university.<br />

Deadl<strong>in</strong>e for application is 1 June for students with<strong>in</strong> EU/EEA and 15 March for<br />

students outside EU/EEA<br />

Students require a Bachelor of Science (BSc) or an equivalent degree <strong>in</strong> Agriculture<br />

or a related discipl<strong>in</strong>e (e.g. Biology, Food Technology, Economics, Nutrition Sciences,<br />

Environmental Sciences) follow<strong>in</strong>g at least three years of university studies. English<br />

language skills.<br />
