The programme provides theoretical scientific knowledge and an understand<strong>in</strong>g of<br />

the issues required for modern biotechnology <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g subjects <strong>in</strong> modification of<br />

cells and organisms, biosynthesis and biotransformation, bioproducts, macrocells.<br />

Graduates are prepared for an <strong>in</strong>creas<strong>in</strong>g variety of new applications for biological<br />

products and job opportunities <strong>in</strong> the sector of health care and environmental<br />

protection.<br />
