The International Masters (IMRCEES) degree offers a coherent programme of <strong>in</strong>depth<br />

study of the Russian, Central and East European region. This <strong>in</strong>novative new<br />

degree offers postgraduate students the opportunity to undertake an advanced study<br />

of various subjects relat<strong>in</strong>g to historical and contemporary developments <strong>in</strong> the<br />

economy, politics, culture and society of Russia and the countries of Central and<br />

Eastern Europe.<br />

EU students: 3 900 GBP per annum, i.e. 5 850 GBP for the 18-month duration<br />

of the programme; Non-EU students: 5 000 GBP per annum, i.e. 7 500 GBP for the<br />

18-month duration of the programme.<br />

UK and EU 26th August 2011; all other <strong>in</strong>ternational applicants 22nd July, 2011<br />

All applicants for postgraduate study must have 2.1 Honours degree or equivalent <strong>in</strong><br />

a relevant social sciences or humanities subject and must provide evidence of<br />

proficiency <strong>in</strong> English <strong>in</strong> cases where English is not the student’s native language.<br />

For applicants whose first language is not English, the University sets a m<strong>in</strong>imum<br />

English Language proficiency level.<br />

This programme is coord<strong>in</strong>ated by the University of Glasgow, through which the<br />

recruitment process takes place. Students may spend a semester at the Jagiellonian<br />

University.<br />
