The International Masters (IMRCEES) degree offers a coherent programme of indepth
study of the Russian, Central and East European region. This innovative new
degree offers postgraduate students the opportunity to undertake an advanced study
of various subjects relating to historical and contemporary developments in the
economy, politics, culture and society of Russia and the countries of Central and
Eastern Europe.
EU students: 3 900 GBP per annum, i.e. 5 850 GBP for the 18-month duration
of the programme; Non-EU students: 5 000 GBP per annum, i.e. 7 500 GBP for the
18-month duration of the programme.
UK and EU 26th August 2011; all other international applicants 22nd July, 2011
All applicants for postgraduate study must have 2.1 Honours degree or equivalent in
a relevant social sciences or humanities subject and must provide evidence of
proficiency in English in cases where English is not the student’s native language.
For applicants whose first language is not English, the University sets a minimum
English Language proficiency level.
This programme is coordinated by the University of Glasgow, through which the
recruitment process takes place. Students may spend a semester at the Jagiellonian
University.
