A graduate of the 1st cycle studies obtains the Bachelor degree, whereas a graduate of
the 2nd cycle obtains Master of Science degree. A graduate acquires basic knowledge
in theoretical mathematics as well as in its applications. The studies develop basic skills
in mathematics and applications. During their studies students become familiar with the
basic branches of mathematics which allows them to apply this in science, technology
and economics. A graduate is assumed to have skills in information technology, building
and administration of data bases, creating algorithms and programming in basic
languages. Subjects connected to actuarial mathematics contain basic knowledge
required on the state examination for the license of an actuaries. A graduate is prepared
to work in institutions which apply mathematical methods (banks, insurance trade and
industrial companies) e.g. as a financial analyst, analyst of insurance risk or an analyst of
systems. The best graduates should be well-prepared to enter the 3rd cycle studies (for
a PhD Degree) both in the region of the Baltic Sea and all over the world

Nostrified high school graduation certificate of Secondary School (for the 1st cycle
studies)
Nostrified diploma of Bachelor’s degree (for the 2nd cycle studies), each candidate
should prove a good command of English, official helth certificate by a medical doctor,
stating that there are no contradictions for the candidate’s undertaking studies,
complete transcript of subjects and results obtained in high school or during the course
of previous studies (translated into Polish or English)
