Next to its offer for Polish students, the Faculty of Economics and Management has<br />

prepared a full-time <strong>in</strong>ternational Economics program delivered <strong>in</strong> English, addressed to<br />

foreign and Polish students. There are five specializations available with<strong>in</strong> the Bachelor’s<br />

degree program: • F<strong>in</strong>ancial Analysis • General Management • Investment and Bus<strong>in</strong>ess<br />

Valuation • IT <strong>in</strong> Bus<strong>in</strong>ess • Economics of Bus<strong>in</strong>ess (only Bachelor's degree). The program<br />

will fit <strong>in</strong>to the Faculty’s vision of <strong>in</strong>ternational cooperation, with respect to the globalisation<br />

and European <strong>in</strong>tegration processes, and thus - the need for changes <strong>in</strong> general study<br />

framework. The <strong>in</strong>ternational program will provide new quality of teach<strong>in</strong>g. The curricula<br />

cross the borders, and orig<strong>in</strong>ate from the longstand<strong>in</strong>g cooperation between the University<br />

of Szczec<strong>in</strong> and its European and American peers as well as bus<strong>in</strong>ess practitioners.<br />

The student will pay a tuition fee of not less than 2,000 EUR per semester. The f<strong>in</strong>al<br />

fee will be estimated after a detailed analysis of the costs related to each specialisation<br />

and the decision by appropriate authorities of the University of Szczec<strong>in</strong> are made.<br />

June-August<br />

Recruitment is based on the A-level certificate with a list of grades for <strong>in</strong>dividual<br />

courses. Nostrification of the certificate is required – it is done by the chief education<br />

officer on behalf of the voivodship’s governor, accord<strong>in</strong>g to the applicant’s place of<br />

residence. A-level certificates obta<strong>in</strong>ed abroad entitle their beholder to study<strong>in</strong>g at the<br />

Faculty of Economics and Management provided that:<br />

1. They conta<strong>in</strong> a clause which entitles the beholder to apply to universities <strong>in</strong> the<br />

country where the certificate was issued or<br />

2. They are accompanied by an additional certificate issued by the same school which<br />

had issued the A-level certificate, appropriate authorities of the country (M<strong>in</strong>istry of<br />

Education, local education authorities, or like) or a Polish embassy or consulate<br />

stat<strong>in</strong>g that the A-level certificate entitles to apply to a university <strong>in</strong> the country<br />

where it had been issued. Moreover, any foreign citizen apply<strong>in</strong>g to the Faculty of<br />

Economics and Management ought to:<br />

1. Deliver a legalized certificate or other document confirm<strong>in</strong>g the person has<br />

graduated from a secondary school abroad, which entitles the beholder to apply to<br />

a university <strong>in</strong> the country where the certificate was issued, recognized by other<br />

regulations as equivalent to Polish A-level certificate,<br />

2. Complete a basic course <strong>in</strong> Polish language. The course will be <strong>in</strong>cluded <strong>in</strong> the<br />

programme (Polish as a foreign language),<br />

3. Prove any special predisposition, should it be required.<br />
