The aim of the undergraduate programme is to provide students with<br />

a firm and comprehensive knowledge <strong>in</strong> physics, which will enable them to cont<strong>in</strong>ue<br />

their education at the graduate level and to work <strong>in</strong> fields requir<strong>in</strong>g application of<br />

high-tech equipment.<br />

On completion of the programme, the graduate is provided with:<br />

– basic knowledge <strong>in</strong> physics and its applications as well as <strong>in</strong> mathematics,<br />

– ability to present physical concepts <strong>in</strong> speak<strong>in</strong>g and writ<strong>in</strong>g,<br />

– ability to use theoretical and experimental tools to solve practical problems,<br />

– ability to build, develop and apply the mathematical models necessary <strong>in</strong> physical<br />

applications,<br />

– skill to accumulate and process data,<br />

– capability to ga<strong>in</strong> deeper knowledge of physics as well as mathematics,<br />

– basis to take up postgraduate studies or do research <strong>in</strong> <strong>in</strong>dustry.<br />

EU/EFTA citizens apply<strong>in</strong>g on a regular basis – no fees;<br />

Non-EU/EFTA citizens: 2500 EUR per year;<br />

200 EUR – application fee.<br />

– a certificate (diploma) of completion of secondary school stat<strong>in</strong>g the holder's<br />

qualification to apply for admission to any type of higher education studies <strong>in</strong> the<br />

country of orig<strong>in</strong> translated <strong>in</strong>to Polish or English by a sworn translator;<br />

– a certificate of English language competence or a certificate of completion of a<br />

secondary school where classes were taught <strong>in</strong> English.<br />

Open<strong>in</strong>g of the programme depends on the number of candidates.<br />
