The thematic scope of the MA <strong>in</strong> Euroculture programme focuses on the importance<br />

of cultural concepts and practices <strong>in</strong> many fields of transnational contacts with<strong>in</strong> and<br />

beyond Europe. It highlights manifestations of cultural self-understand<strong>in</strong>g as an<br />

important element of transnational social and political developments. The<br />

programme transmits knowledge of European culture, heritage, values and identities,<br />

and therefore equips students with the cultural-reflexive competences necessary to<br />

analyse current transformations of Europe. Cooperat<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>stitutions: Universidad de<br />

Deusto Bilbao-San Sebastian, Spa<strong>in</strong>; Rijksuniversiteit Gron<strong>in</strong>gen, Netherlands;<br />

Republic; Universite Marc Bloch, Strasbourg II, France; Universita` degli Studi di<br />
