Graduates of Environmental Eng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g programme are prepared to work <strong>in</strong><br />

enterprises, adm<strong>in</strong>istration, plann<strong>in</strong>g and design offices or consult<strong>in</strong>g companies. The<br />

first three semesters of the programme provide students with basic knowledge of<br />

mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology at the university level. In addition,<br />

several eng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g basic courses are offered, to provide students with a<br />

comprehensive understand<strong>in</strong>g of the environmental issues. The scientific and<br />

eng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g courses are complemented by social sciences and humanities subjects to<br />

broaden the study perspectives as well as to prepare students for professional<br />

<strong>in</strong>teraction with people. The next three semesters cover specific topics with<strong>in</strong> the<br />

field of environmental eng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g. The seventh semester is mostly devoted to<br />

work<strong>in</strong>g on the f<strong>in</strong>al project and preparation of the B.Sc. thesis <strong>in</strong> which students use<br />

their knowledge to correctly analyse a given problem and f<strong>in</strong>d proper solutions.<br />

*(There is a possibility to exempt the best selected candidates from the tuition fee.<br />

The cost will be covered by the European Social Fund).<br />
