These are full-time, three-year studies lead<strong>in</strong>g to the Bachelor's degree <strong>in</strong> the area of<br />

Computer Science. The programme <strong>in</strong>cludes software eng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g, computer<br />

networks, visual programm<strong>in</strong>g, <strong>in</strong>ternet portals, computer graphics and artificial<br />

<strong>in</strong>telligence. Graduates of the first level Computer Science programme acquire<br />

knowledge and skills <strong>in</strong> the area of: programm<strong>in</strong>g, implementation and verification<br />

of computer software components, supervision of middle-sized computer systems<br />

and practical use of computer tools. A typical graduate can f<strong>in</strong>d employment as an<br />

adm<strong>in</strong>istrator of computer systems, as a programmer, webmaster, operator and service<br />

attendant of <strong>in</strong>formation systems and, after complet<strong>in</strong>g additional requirements,<br />

he or she can also be employed as a Computer Science Teacher.<br />

The charge of 3000 PLN/year applies for Polish and the EU/EFTA citizens.<br />

2500 EUR/year for students from outside the EU/EFTA, exclusive of an additional<br />

200 EUR charge that covers registration fee (for students of Polish orig<strong>in</strong> the tuition<br />

is reduced by 30%).<br />

A high school diploma, a transcript of records show<strong>in</strong>g the subjects/grades and a<br />

certificate of proficiency <strong>in</strong> English for foreigners (unless the first degree was taught<br />
