Graduates should possess general and comprehensive knowledge of Physics,
Mathematics and Computer Science. The three-year program presumes basic
knowledge in classical physics, quantum physics, nuclear physics, basic method of
spectroscopy, introduction to programming, numerical methods.
Graduates will be able to work in various institutions as supervisors of computer
systems, programmers, and operators and service attendants of information system.
After meeting some additional requirements a graduate can also become a physics
teacher.
General education subjects: foreign languages, philosophy.
Basic subjects (Mathematics): logic and set theory, mathematical analysis, linear
algebra, probability and statistics, ordinary differential equations.
Other subjects (Informatics): operating systems, computer network, programming,
algorithms, databases.
The specialization should be chosen after the first year of study.
Courses are conducted as lectures, tutorial or practical exercises in laboratories.
