This postgraduate Master's degree programme is organized at the University of Lodz<br />

by the Faculty of Law and Adm<strong>in</strong>istration and prepares students for a career <strong>in</strong> <strong>in</strong>ternational<br />

and <strong>in</strong>ternal adm<strong>in</strong>istration (central or local government, bus<strong>in</strong>ess adm<strong>in</strong>istration).<br />

In the course of the studies participants acquire professional knowledge that<br />

enables them to work at the offices of the public adm<strong>in</strong>istration, as well as, <strong>in</strong> the<br />

<strong>in</strong>stitutions of the European Union. The graduates are awarded an M.A. degree <strong>in</strong><br />

Adm<strong>in</strong>istration. The programme of the studies <strong>in</strong>cludes lectures on <strong>in</strong>ternational law,<br />

legislation of the European Union, Polish domestic law, management and the organization<br />

of the civil service. The programme consists of lectures and conservatoriums.<br />

The charge of 5100 PLN/year applies for Polish and the EU/EFTA citizens.<br />

2500 EUR/year for students from outside the EU/EFTA, exclusive of an additional<br />

200 EUR charge that covers registration fee (for students of Polish orig<strong>in</strong> the tuition<br />

is reduced by 30%).<br />

Candidates hold<strong>in</strong>g higher education (Bachelor) diplomas or Master degrees may<br />

apply. A transcript of records show<strong>in</strong>g the subjects/grades and a certificate of proficiency<br />

<strong>in</strong> English for foreigners (unless the first degree was taught <strong>in</strong> English) are<br />
