The Psychology studies in English programme is our new offer for foreign students
wishing to participate in acquiring recent knowledge, conducting research or gathering
experience in the practical approach.
It is important to mention that the two-level (BA/MA) studies in psychology are not
available and a single-course 5-year Master study is required to graduate. The participants
will have a unique chance too cooperate with polish students and foreign psychology
students. This gives the possibility to compare different approaches to psychology and gain
a more diverse view on the subject matter. Apart from the common, compulsory set of
subjects there is a wide range of elective ones. Additionally the university is open on all
sorts of student initiatives to create their own projects, groups, workshops, etc. Participants
would naturally have the chance to exchange knowledge about their cultures and customs
for example in the form of interactive workshops or lectures.
Students can make use of state-of-the-art laboratories: multimedia, computer lab,
occupational therapy, psychophysical tests as well as a research lab.
During the forth and fifth year students can choose specialisation modules such as:
Clinical Psychology, Social Psychology, Psychology of Development Support
As part of the EU programme Erasmus, our Faculty participates in an exchange of
students and academics with foreign universities such as: Padova (Italy), Ankara
(Turkey), Pieksamaki (Finland), Vasa (Finland), Bańska Bystrzyca (Slovakia) and other.

Students of Polish origin are entitled to a 30% discount.

Secondary-school leaving examination, a certificate of English language proficiency for
foreigners is also required.
A minimum of 20 candidates is required for the study to start. Additionally each
candidate is to present an essay on psychological issues.
