The postgraduate LL. M. programme beg<strong>in</strong>s <strong>in</strong> the first week of March of each<br />

academic year and lasts for two semesters, until the end of February the follow<strong>in</strong>g<br />

year. The programme consists of two parts:<br />

I. Courses <strong>in</strong> the scope of Polish Law School (from March till July <strong>in</strong> Krakow)<br />

The courses <strong>in</strong> Polish law, given <strong>in</strong> German language, <strong>in</strong>clude the follow<strong>in</strong>g lectures:<br />

1. Civil Law – General Part and Obligations – 40 hours<br />

2. Civil Law – Law of Property – 30 hours<br />

3. Private and Public Bus<strong>in</strong>ess Law – 60 hours<br />

4. International Private Law – 20 hours<br />

5. Insolvency Law – 20 hours<br />

6. Labor Law – 20 hours<br />

7. Constitutional Law – 20 hours<br />

Additionally:<br />

1. Sem<strong>in</strong>ar / case study<br />

2. History, culture and politics <strong>in</strong> <strong>Poland</strong><br />

3. Intensive course of Polish language (100 hours)<br />

4. Specialist courses <strong>in</strong> Polish law<br />

Two-day sem<strong>in</strong>ar (compulsory attendance, October <strong>in</strong> Krakow) and Master Thesis <strong>in</strong><br />

the field of Polish law (at least 30 pages, languages: Polish or German, deadl<strong>in</strong>e: end<br />

of February of the follow<strong>in</strong>g year).<br />

12 000 PLN – for graduates of the Polish Law School; 18 000 PLN – for others<br />
