Bridge Training � Labour-market integrati<strong>on</strong> initiatives such as Ontario Bridge Training programs and<br />

OPS Internship Program for Internati<strong>on</strong>ally Trained Individuals.<br />

� The Tor<strong>on</strong>to Regi<strong>on</strong> Immigrant Employment Council accelerates entry <strong>of</strong> skilled immigrants to<br />

<strong>the</strong> workplace by encouraging employers to set up programs such as internships, mentoring<br />

and co-op placements.<br />

Foreign Students � On Sept. 14, 2010, <strong>the</strong> Ontario government announced that internati<strong>on</strong>al students with a<br />

master’s degree will now be able to apply for permanent residency without a job <strong>of</strong>fer under <strong>the</strong><br />

Opportunities Ontario: Provincial Nominee Program.<br />
