Recommendati<strong>on</strong> 12-2: Implement full cost pricing for water and wastewater services.<br />

Recommendati<strong>on</strong> 12-5: Pursue a nati<strong>on</strong>al transit strategy with <strong>the</strong> federal government,<br />

Recommendati<strong>on</strong> 12-13: C<strong>on</strong>solidate Ontario’s 80 local distributi<strong>on</strong> companies al<strong>on</strong>g<br />

Recommendati<strong>on</strong> 16-13: Selected shared services should be expanded to agencies,<br />

Recommendati<strong>on</strong> 16-14: The government should c<strong>on</strong>solidate informati<strong>on</strong> and informati<strong>on</strong><br />

technology (I&IT) services throughout <strong>the</strong> broader public sector.<br />

Recommendati<strong>on</strong> 16-15: Significant savings and efficiencies can be achieved by fur<strong>the</strong>r<br />

co-ordinating existing horiz<strong>on</strong>tal supply chains across <strong>the</strong> broader public sector.<br />

Revenue Integrity, Chapter 18<br />

Recommendati<strong>on</strong> 18-10: The Ministry <strong>of</strong> Finance should take <strong>the</strong> lead by providing<br />

assistance to municipalities in developing policy for <strong>the</strong> collecti<strong>on</strong> <strong>of</strong> unpaid Provincial<br />

Offences Act fines in <strong>the</strong> province.<br />

Recommendati<strong>on</strong> 18-12: Allow fines to be added via <strong>the</strong> property tax roll by adding Provincial<br />

Offences Act fines to <strong>the</strong> <strong>of</strong>fender’s property tax bill, even if <strong>the</strong> property is jointly owned.<br />
