The claim can be used only for food which is<br />

at least a source of Vitam<strong>in</strong> D as referred to <strong>in</strong><br />

the claim SOURCE OF [NAME OF VITAMIN/S]<br />

AND/OR [NAME OF MINERAL/S] as listed <strong>in</strong><br />

the Annex to Regulation 1924/2006.<br />

The claim can be used only for food which is<br />

at least a source of calcium <strong>and</strong> vitam<strong>in</strong> D as<br />

referred to <strong>in</strong> the claim SOURCE OF [NAME OF<br />

VITAMIN/S] AND/OR [NAME OF MINERAL/S] as<br />

listed <strong>in</strong> the Annex to Regulation 1924/2006.<br />

The claim may be used only for food<br />

supplements, with a m<strong>in</strong>imum dose of<br />

4500 FCC (Food Chemicals Codex) units<br />

with <strong>in</strong>structions to the target population<br />

to consume with each lactose conta<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g<br />

meal. Information shall also be given to the<br />

target population that tolerance to lactose is<br />

variable <strong>and</strong> they should seek advice as to the<br />

role of this substance <strong>in</strong> their diet.<br />

The claim may be used only for food<br />

which conta<strong>in</strong>s 10 g of lactulose <strong>in</strong> a s<strong>in</strong>gle<br />

quantified portion. In order to bear the claim,<br />

<strong>in</strong>formation shall be given to the consumer<br />

that the beneficial effect is obta<strong>in</strong>ed with a<br />

s<strong>in</strong>gle serv<strong>in</strong>g of 10 g of lactulose per day.<br />
