Ensure all personnel that enter or work in designatedhazardous noise areas receive training under the requirements ofMCO 6260.1E.5. Hearing conservation program management information iscontained in MCO 6260.1E.13006. FOOT PROTECTION1. All Marine Corps personnel <strong>occupational</strong>ly exposed tofoot-hazardous operations or areas shall be furnishedappropriate <strong>safety</strong> footwear at organizational expense.Foot-hazardous operations are those with a high incidence of, ora potential for, foot or toe injuries. Some of these operationsor areas include:a. Construction.b. Material h<strong>and</strong>ling.c. Maintenance.d. Transportation.e. Aircraft maintenance, fuels, <strong>and</strong> avionics.f. Weapons.g. Supply, warehousing.h. Vehicle maintenance facilities.13-7
