Change-In-Work Training. Events creating a change inworking environments, processes, or tasks that affect the safe<strong>and</strong> healthful performance of work require change-in-worktraining. Some events that may require change-in-work trainingare: new process, change in equipment, relocation of workstations, updating SOP, alteration of control devices,modifications to buildings, or changes in TMs. Supervisors willensure each person affected by a change in work is trained <strong>and</strong>maintain documentation of this training.4. Civilian Employee/Shop Safety Representative Training.Civilian employees of the comm<strong>and</strong> who are representatives ofemployee groups, such as labor organizations that are recognizedby comm<strong>and</strong>, <strong>and</strong> shop <strong>safety</strong> representatives shall be affordedapplicable training outlined in the three preceding paragraphs.Training is applicable when it enables each shop <strong>safety</strong> employeerepresentative to ensure safe <strong>and</strong> healthful working conditions<strong>and</strong> practices are met in the work center <strong>and</strong> provides them withthe skill <strong>and</strong> knowledge to effectively participate in workcenter <strong>safety</strong> <strong>and</strong> health inspections. ISMs will maintaindocumentation of such training.5. Supervisor Safety Training. ISMs <strong>and</strong> <strong>safety</strong> officers shallensure OSH training is provided to all supervisory personnel.New supervisors shall be provided the training within 90 days ofappointment. The training must include st<strong>and</strong>ards set forth inSOPs, TMs, <strong>and</strong> PMs. They shall provide documentation to eachattendee's organization <strong>and</strong> maintain file copies of classrosters. Initial training will be a minimum of four hours ofinstruction composed of <strong>safety</strong> indoctrination <strong>and</strong> mishapprevention.5-5
