2000 MARCOR OSH PROGRAM MANUAL(5) Industrial hygiene work center monitoring <strong>and</strong> surveyrecords are kept at least 40 years.(6) Cross-reference linkages among employment records,medical records <strong>and</strong> industrial hygiene surveillance data aredeveloped <strong>and</strong> implemented.d. Appropriate research <strong>and</strong> development are conducted topreclude <strong>occupational</strong> exposures from degrading a person's healthor work performance.e. A program is developed to provide formal inspections atleast annually of all work centers, including notificationprovisions to workers of inspection results. More frequentinspections will be conducted, at least semi-annually, in allareas with a high risk of accident, injury, or illness. Thisprogram will provide for at least annual <strong>occupational</strong> healthsurveillance of both personnel <strong>and</strong> their working environments.Conduct oversight inspections at least triennially to ensureimplementation of the program.f. Personnel are aware of formal procedures to processwritten OSH deficiency reports.g. Procedures are developed to provide for promptinvestigation of reports by military <strong>and</strong> civilian personnel <strong>and</strong>others of unsafe or unhealthful working conditions, <strong>and</strong> toensure corrective action is taken where appropriate.h. All military <strong>and</strong> civilian personnel receive thorough <strong>and</strong>continuing OSH orientation <strong>and</strong> training consistent with theirwork center environments. Particular emphasis shall be <strong>dir</strong>ectedto the improvement of hazard awareness <strong>and</strong> reduction ofaccidental injury <strong>and</strong> property damage. Up-to-date audiovisualaids should be maintained in film libraries. Records shall bemaintained of all OSH training conducted. OSH training programs(chapter 5) shall be developed for the following groups:2-4(1) Non-supervisory personnel.(2) First line supervisors.(3) Comm<strong>and</strong>ers <strong>and</strong> other senior managers.
