MARCOR OSH PROGRAM MANUAL 7004f. Interim measures are developed and provided with eachNAVMC 11400, OSH Deficiency Notice, as required and appropriate.g. Assist the supervisor of the work center inspected andthe facilities department, as necessary, in the development ofabatement plans.h. Maintain a log of OSH deficiencies noted duringinspections to facilitate follow-up per paragraph 7009.i. Have the supervisor attach a copy of the deficiencynotice to the work request.j. Appraise the safety council or supervisor safetycommittee of all outstanding OSH deficiencies having RAC of 1,2, or 3, that cannot be abated within 30 days.k. All inspection or discrepancy reports will be routedthrough the appropriate chain of command.3. Unit Safety. Unit safety personnel shall assure thefollowing are accomplished, and may delegate down the safetychain of command to the appropriate level, the responsibilityfor:a. Request an inspection when a report of unsafe orunhealthful working conditions or an ANYMOUSE report is receivedthat indicates a formal safety inspection is required.b. If appropriate, endorse and/or revise work requestsinitiated by a supervisor of a work center concerning OSHdeficiencies prior to submission to facility department. If awork request is revised, the originator of the work requestshould be so informed.c. Provide copies of formal inspection reports to allaffected work areas with a request for a written response tonoted discrepancies.d. In a timely manner, consolidate all work centerresponses to formal inspection reports and send the consolidatedreport through the chain of command to the inspecting safetyoffice. (Tenant commands may do their own OSH inspections.)7-7
