PROGRAMMING AND BUDGET1. Program information will be submitted biennially to CMC (SD)through the chain of comm<strong>and</strong>, for a 6-year period in thecategories shown below. For example, a report submitted in FY06should include fiscal years 2008-2014. The actual date ofsubmission will be provided by separate Program ObjectiveMemor<strong>and</strong>um (POM) correspondence.a. Facilities. This facilities budget includes Operation<strong>and</strong> Maintenance, Marine Corps (O&MMC) funded minor constructionprojects. Details on this project category may be found in MCOP11000.5. Functional category R2 (HQMC funded) constructionprojects should be submitted to CMC Facilities Branch (LFF). Inreporting this category, cite each project, the OSH deficiency,hazard category, risk assessment code, reference st<strong>and</strong>ard (e.g.,OSHA, ANSI), cost to correct the deficiency, <strong>and</strong> impact if notfunded.b. Equipment. This category includes that equipment neededto determine a hazardous environment <strong>and</strong> to protect personnelfrom hazardous working conditions, e.g., gas <strong>and</strong> noisedetectors, <strong>safety</strong> shoes, eye <strong>and</strong> ear protective devices. Citetype <strong>and</strong> quantity of equipment <strong>and</strong> associated costs.c. Training. Included in this category is the projectedcost for training CON<strong>US</strong>-based civilian <strong>safety</strong> personnel <strong>and</strong> bothmilitary <strong>and</strong> civilian <strong>safety</strong> personnel stationed outside CON<strong>US</strong>at military <strong>and</strong> civilian schools. Also include the expectedcost of attendance at conferences <strong>and</strong> workshops by both military<strong>and</strong> civilian personnel. Cite desired training <strong>and</strong> associatedcosts.3-8
