Review NAVMC 11406 to ensure the form, through part 2,is appropriately completed and part 3, step 1 reflectssupervisor's signature certifying job ready to start. The APMthen certifies NAVMC 11406, part 3, and step 1.h. Maintain records of all required training per 40 CFR763.i. Coordinate laboratory analysis of asbestos samples.j. Record the results of asbestos surveys for allfacilities in the installation or unit and hold these recordsindefinitely.k. Require environmental monitoring and verify compliancewith the requirements for asbestos operations.l. Notify individuals of asbestos exposure.m. Coordinate an asbestos medical surveillance program inaccordance with chapter 11.n. Provide technical support and guidance for asbestoshazard operations.o. Ensure all required equipment and tools are provided forasbestos operations.p.
